UNDERSTANDING
Our commitment at Iniesta Academy is to offer customized training programs that cater to the specific needs of individual players and training groups.
We understand and respect that every child has their own learning pace, and our goal is to create a positive learning environment that maximizes their potential.
Our aim is for each player to improve their understanding of the game and enhance their skills, ultimately fostering effective and long-lasting growth. To improve decision-making in our players, there are three aspects we always keep in mind:

The relationship between these three elements is fundamental. To achieve this, we offer various levels of training, each with specific objectives tailored to the needs of our players:

ABOUT THE BASIS
OF IACADEMY!
Our training sessions are focused on generating a greater tactical understanding, always supported by a technical execution that allows us to solve the different problems presented by the game.
The emphasis on tactical components increases with the player’s level, with technical aspects being emphasized in Pre-Academy and tactical elements in Elite.

Ball Dominance
Description
Relationship between the player and the ball.
Goal
Develop coordination patterns in players that enable them to maintain control of the ball in various game situations.
Technical Concepts
Attack/ Dribbling, control, pass, feint and shoot
Defense/ Tackle and interception
02/
Association
Description
Emphasis on the relationship between players, including their interactions with both teammates and opponents.
Ball keeping
Goal
Develop behavior patterns where the player takes into account his teammates and opponents. Teach them to adapt their actions in relation to the rest of the players.
Tactical Concepts
Attack/ One-two, Permanent support, offensive timing and offensive superiority
Defense/ Covering, defensive superiority and marking

Verticality
Description
Developing the ability to make progress towards the opponent’s goal during the game.
Overcome lines
Goal
Create coordination patterns into the player that allows him to exercise control over the ball in each game situation.
Tactical Concepts
Attack/ One-two, game progression, game speed and pace change
Defense/ Pressing, drop back and defensive timing

Space-time Control
Description
Understanding of game spaces and timing of execution.
Free spaces
Objective
Enhance the player’s ability to analyze game situations and understand different contexts, particularly in relation to space and execution timing
Tactical Concepts
Attack/ One-two, side change, dismarking and overlap
Defense/ Space reduction, defensive balance and anticipation

Clinics
Discover our methodology
Our intensive Iniesta Academy course ranges from 1 to 3 days and offers children the opportunity to immerse themselves in Andrés Iniesta’s football philosophy, discovering and enjoying his unique approach to the sport. The clinic is a course in which players can experience a summarized version of the academy’s annual program and understand the most important concepts of Andrés Iniesta’s methodology.

Camps
Intensive football training
Our intensive football program runs for 3 to 5 days and offers players the chance to fully immerse themselves in Iniesta Academy training, as well as participate in engaging off-pitch activities. These activities include recreational events, where players can learn important values and bond with their teammates and theory classes to further improve their football knowledge.
The campus is a more immersive format where living with fellow players and cultural exchange are the key differentiators. Our players live and coexist 24/7 with Andrés Iniesta’s team with the goal of developing players both in terms of football skills and as individuals. These camps typically take place during the vacation period.

International Summer Camp Barcelona
Summer 2024
A yearly event of all Iniestas’ Academies worldwide gathered in one place as a football experience and cultural exchange at the heart of Spanish Football. Competition, friendly matches and Iniesta Academy Summer Cup.

As a parent,
I am very satisfied!
I found out about the Iniesta Academy through a classmate of Alana’s brother. He trained at Andrés Iniesta’s academy and was very happy! In fact, everyone who trains here says they enjoy it and my daughter started to take an interest in football.
That was three years ago and she is still enjoying and learning here. She always says the coaches are interesting and she enjoys learning, she has never wanted to miss a day. As a parent, I am very satisfied!
After every football lesson at the academy, I ask them how it was. Not a day goes by that they don’t say they had a good time. They tell me about the fun they had with their group mates and what they learnt from the coaches. So I am convinced and happy that this is a good place to be.

We decided on this academy because it has the stamp of a player like Andres Iniesta, who is known worldwide and is technically very good.
We decided that if we let him join at an early age, he would have the opportunity to practise the basics, such as the touch of the ball, looking at and analysing the game situation around him and making quick decisions.
I am very happy with the Iniesta Academy because each of the things we practise in training is based on a clear concept. The coaches are very specific about each training and how to determine the best play in each case, as well as what needs to be improved each time. I think the quality of the training here is high!
My son (Ippei) looks forward to coming here every week and I know that he is happy with his development at the Iniesta Academy.

My kicking and control improved a lot after joining.
From an early age, my son has always felt passionate about football and when I found out about the Iniesta Academy through social networks, I immediately knew this was the right place for him.
When we came to experience it, they were training different concepts. I knew that once my son was part of the academy he would progress well and improve every day, so I decided this was the right place for him.
He has improved a lot in terms of kicking the ball, control, etc. and they also often tell him that he should keep his head up and play, to see everything that is happening around him. I am persistent, but that is normal now and we like it. We are happy to have them join the Iniesta Academy.
